Portland Downtown

Portland's signature street lamps are dual light,
acorn-style fixtures that have been a familiar sight since Portland
streets were electrified more than a century ago. Today, these
lamps appear throughout the downtown area, Lloyd District, Pearl
Disrict, Riverplace, River District and along some major streets.
The fixtures are also customized with banners to distinguish
several downtown districts, and even have their own paint scheme
in Chinatown. Below is the typical downtown standard, black with
gold trim. |
