heart of downtown at Washington Street and Broadway, the Kassab
clock is just a few
feet away from the rival Dan Marx clock. The clock is the product
of at least one renovation, with the ornate neoclassical base
advertising M. Jacob Jewelers, and the Art Deco clock fixture
advertising the Kassab Jewelers who have long occupied this spot on Broadway. Close
inspection of the Kassab face reveals the hour tics to be diamonds.
