Sidewalk Benches

In addition to
      some classic wooden benches sprinkled along the Truckee's main
      street on Donner Pass Road, there are a series of handsome brick
      planters (above) that incorporate street trees and benches. Located
      near street corners, these benches are heavily used by tourists
      walking old town Truckee, and eager for a seat in the shade (note
      shade in both images, even in early spring).
