On summer weekends,
      a wildly popular farmer's market (above) blossoms along the west
      edge of the park, lining park sidewalks and occupying an adjacent
      street that fronts the park. Near the market, a new playground
      (below) allows kids to burn off corn dogs and sno-cones while
      adults watch from nearby benches.
