Troutdale's pedestrian-oriented
      downtown follows the golden rule of crosswalks: provide marked
      crossings at every street intersection. Though sidewalks are
      too narrow on much of the steet, the relatively narrow street,
      itself, helps make this section of Columbia River Highway very
      easy to negotiate on foot.
