Gateway Monument
 

      
Located at the
      intersection of First Street and "A" Avenue, this monument
      combines with the adjacent traffic calming platform (previous
      slide) to clearly announce the heart of the revitalized downtown.
      Note the careful bollard design that allows this structure to
      be located in close proximity to moving traffic, and protect
      the monument from heavy vehicles.
