Walls with Purpose
 

      
Throughout the
      "A" Avenue project, Lake Oswego has constructed these
      walls wherever a sidewalk abuts a parking lot. They are concrete
      block construction, with a stone veneer, and in this example,
      incorporate news stands that add to their functionality. The
      walls are also built at a height that allows them to be used
      as seating.
