Main Street - Annapolis, Maryland Pedestrian Space
Near the harbor, the rebuilt sidwalks along Main Street are wide enough to allow cafe tables (above) and shop wares to be displayed on the street. The street is more confined above Francis Street (below), with narrower sidewalks and only one lane of traffic with parking on both sides. Here, curb extensions are used to mark a major pedestrian crossing at Conduit Street.
